Whereas it has pleased Almighty God in his infinite wisdom to remove suddenly from our midst by the lightning’s deadly flash, Thomas E. Sutherlin late of Russell Township, Putnam County, Indiana. Therefore, be it resolved by Russell Centre Lodge, No. 4133, FMBA that in the death of Brother Sutherlin said lodge has sustained an irreparable loss, his family has lost a loving husband and kind and indulgent father, and the community an honest, upright and respectful citizen. Resolved, that while his brethren deplore his loss and tender their sympathy to his stricken family, they cherish the fond hope that they will meet their loved and lost brother beyond the dark river, where parting is no more. Resolved, that the Farmer’s Record, Banner and Times, Star-Press and Democrat be requested to publish these resolutions and that a copy be sent to the family of the deceased.
