SUTHERLIN, Rebecca Eldina Dunkin - Putnam

Mrs. Rebecca Eldina Sutherlin, 82, passed away early Tuesday monring at the Putnam County hospital where she had been a patient the past ten days.

She was born April 5, 1880 in Quincy, the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Costin Duncan (misspelled) (Dunkin). She had spent most of her life in the Mt. Meridian and Greencastle community. She was a member of the Mt. Meridian Methodist Church.

Survivors are; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Eastman, Mrs. Dovie Clements, Greencastle, and Mrs. Elberta Parrish, Lowell, Indiana; two sons, Ollie Sutherlin, Fillmore and Dennis Sutherlin of Greencastle; two sisters, Mrs. Eva McCullough and Mrs. Pa Tharp; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Sutherlin in 1952 one daughter and two sons.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Rector Funeral Home. Rev. June Evans will officiate. Intermennt will be in Deer Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 7 o clock this evening.
