SUTHERLIN, Lawrence - Putnam

Funeral services for Lawrence Sutherlin, age 22 years son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sutherlin of near Morton which was to have been held Tuesday morning was postponed until Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock at the home of the parents. Interment will be in Russellville cemetery.  Mr. Sutherlin died in Indianapolis Saturday night of influenza. He is survived by the parents, four brothers and three sisters. ~~~transcribed by kbz

The death of Lawrence Sutherlin, age 22 son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sutherlin, residing near Morton occurred near midnight Saturday at the home of a brother, Courtney Sutherlin at Indianapolis.  The deceased had been visiting his brother when he was taken ill with influenza, followed by pneumonia which caused death. The young man is survived by his parents, four sisters: Mary, Laverne, Ruby and Dorothy at home and three brothers, Courtney of Indianapolis and LeRoy and a small brother at home.  Funeral services will be held at the home of the parents, Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock with interment in the Russellville cemetery. ~~~transcribed by kbz
