Obituary for Clarice Irene Sutherlin (10 Jul 1902 - 06 Jan 1980)

Mrs. Clarice Irene Sutherlin, 77, Canterbury Drive, Greencastle, passed away late Sunday evening in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. Born in Marion Township July 10 1902, she was the daughter of Charles Omar and Fannie (Zeiner) Bunten. She attended Fillmore High School, was a member of the Fillmore Christian Church and for 22 years was a practical nurse. She was married to Ollie E. Sutherlin in 1920, and he survives. Other survivors include a son, Kenneth, Fillmore; two daughters, Mrs. Billy (Betty) Cole, Fillmore, and Mrs. Robert (Kay) Cheetham, Anderson; two sisters, Icy V. Bunten Bridges, Coatesville, and Venola Kohlhaas, Greencastle; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a half-brother, Harry Bunten, and a half-sister, Mary Bunten White. Services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Rev. Robert E Jones and Rev. Paul M. Robinson officiating. Interment will be in the Fillmore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-9 p. m. Wednesday.
