Ralph Summers, 69 of 320 East US 136 E, died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday in Autumn Care at Ladoga. He owned and operated Summers Plumbing for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He attended One Way Church and was educated in Tippecanoe School and Jefferson High School. He was born March 10, 1919 at Roachdale to Oscar and Anna Steele Summers. He married Frances Cronk on Jan 28, 1939 at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Larry of Crawfordsville; a brother, Wendell of Lafayette; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Four brothers and a sister are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Lee officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Crawfordsville – Ralph Summers, 69, of 320 E US 136 E, Crawfordsville, retired owner of Summers Plumbing Co died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday in the Autumn Care Nursing Home in Ladoga. He was born March 10, 1919 in Roachdale. His marriage on Jan 28, 1939 in Crawfordsville was to Frances Cronk and she survives. Mr. Summers attended Tippecanoe School and Jefferson HS in Lafayette. He had owned the pluming company 30 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Summers attended the One Way Church in Crawfordsville. Surviving with his wife are a son, Larry Summers of Crawfordsville and a brother, Wendell Summers of Lafayette. – kbz
