SUMMERS, Mary Knight - Putnam

Bicknell – Mrs. Mary Summers, 64, former resident of Bicknell died Thursday at her home in Bloomington, Ind. She was a native of Putnam County, Indiana born Dec 12, 1904, a daughter of Elmer and Cordia Cline Gardner. Mrs. Summers was twice married. Her first husband, Clelland Knight, died in 1938, and the second, Dion (Tony) Summers died in 1959. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Brice of Greenfield, Ind; two sons, Charles Knight of Speedway, Ind and Maurice Knight of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Mrs. Roxie Chambers and Mrs. Carrie Strong, both of Bicknell.  The body is at the Day Funeral Home in Bloomington, where friends may call.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Bicknell, the Rev. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Bicknell IOOF Cemetery. – kbz
