SUMMERS, Anna - Putnam

Mrs. Anna Summers, 72 of 1410 Sunset Drive, Lafayette died in Westbrook Nursing Home, Crawfordsville at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday. She had been ill since last May and went to the nursing home two weeks ago. Burn at Brazil, she lived in Lafayette 37 years, coming here from Roachdale. She was married in 1904 to Oscar Summers who died in 1931. She was a member of the women’s auxiliary of the GAR. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard E. Goldsmith with whom she made her home, six sons, Raymond, William and Wendell of Lafayette, Gale of Rt 5, Ralph of Crawfordsville and Charles of Ft. Wayne and a sister, Mrs. Maude Todd of Rensselaer. – kbz
