Mrs. Lela
Eggers Suiter, 79, died Wednesday afternoon in Culver Hospital in
Crawfordsville following a three week illness. She was born Oct 14, 1889, in
Putnam County and was the daughter of Thornton and Sarah King Allgood. She
married William Franklin Eggers in 1908. She was later married to Guy Suiter.
Mrs. Suiter resided in New Maysville and the Roachdale communities all of her
life and was a member of the New Maysville Methodist Church. She is survived by
three daughters: Mrs. Irene Wolfenbarger and Mrs. Pansy Rolston, both of
Indianapolis and Mrs. Nela Hedge,
Roachdale. A son, Ora Eggers, Greencastle; 14 grandchildren and several great
and great great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Perkins
Funeral Home, Roachdale. Friends may call after 7:00 p.m. Thursday interment in
New Maysville Cemetery. – kbz
