Fermine E. STURGEON, 79, life-long Judson resident and retired farmer in the community died at his home at 8:15 p.m. Friday Jan 15, 1965. Born Jan 28, 1885 , in Greene Twp, Mr. Sturgeon was the son of John L. and Mary Ann McCammon Sturgeon. He was reared and spent his entire life in the Judson community and was a farmer in the area until his retirement. Survivors include the widow, Edith; a son, Melvin Sturgeon of Danville, Ind; a daughter, Mrs. Billy D Trueland of Dayton, OH and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Barnes Mortuary Chapel at Rockville; Rev. Ray Britton officiated. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, north of Hollandsburg. -- kbz
