Winchester – Mrs. Lillie M. Stump, 77 year old widow of Macy
Stump, died last Friday afternoon after a month’s illness. She lived four and
one-half miles west of Winchester. Mrs. Stump came to Randolph County from
Putnam County in 1896. Her husband died
in 1941. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles Teeter of Union City and
Mrs. Bessie Turgi of Muncie; three sons, Robert of Dania, Florida; Herman of
Winchester and Albert of Otis, Colo; 9 grandchildren and 12 great
grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Day, Mrs. Emma Cook and Mrs. Lyde
Johnson all of Greencastle and Mrs. Daisy Fader of Endicott, NY. Funeral services for Mrs. Stump will be held
at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Maynard & Walker Funeral Home. Rev. Zelma Mills
will officiate. Burial will be in
Woodlawn cemetery at Maxville. Friends may call at the funeral home. –
