WAYNETOWN — Arnold Ray Stultz, 72, Waynetown, died at 10:24 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2000 in V.A. Medical Center, Danville, Ill. He was born July 10, 1927 in Russellville, the son of Arthur Ray and Patience Venila Rivers Stultz. He was a 1946 graduate of Kingman High School and a 1953 graduate of Bob Jones University. He was an Army PFC during World War II, serving in Occupied Japan. He was an elementary school teacher in Savannah, Ga. school district for 25 years. He had lived in Waynetown for 20 years. He was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church, Waynetown American Legion and AARP. Survivors include: a son, Paul Stultz, Pacolet, S.C., a brother, Richard Stultz, Waveland; three sisters, Delores Maudlin, Hillsboro, Darlene Bushue, Covington and Linda Wills, Crawfordsville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Goode in August 1998 and his parents. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown, with the Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery, Waveland. Military honors at the graveside were by Waynetown American Legion. – jlr
