STRINGER, Loren - Putnam

Danville, Ind Feb 28 -- Loren Stringer, eldest son of Mr. & Mrs. George Stringer was b. near Barnard, Ind, Nov 3, 1903. Departed this life Feb 24, 1930. He was united in marr. to Norine Franklin Aug 18, 1928. To this union were born one son, Loren Jr. just 5 months old. He was a grad. of Bainbridge HS class of '23. There was a class of 22, and this is the first death of that class. he leaves to mourn his departure the wife, son, father and mother, one brother, Leland of Roachdale and two sisters, Mrs. Opal Young of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Esther Hicks of Lebanon; four nieces, two nephews, an elderly grandmother, Mary Stringer of Ladoga; besides a host of relatives and friends. He had high ideals of life. Had spoken to the plans he had of leading and molding the little son's life to higher planes. Death came as a thief and stole our loved one away. Not ours to ask the reason why but ours to say Thy will be done.    --- kbz
