STONER, Joseph W. - Putnam

Ladoga - Joseph W. Stoner, 64, teacher at Ladoga HS in the early 1930s died Thursday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Schenectady, NY. He had been in ill health for the past 5 years. He had operated a water softening business since 1946 in Schenectady. Born April 22, 1908 near Ladoga he was the youngest of 8 children. He was a graduate of Manchester College. Survivors include his widow, Dorothy; three borhters, Paul of Ladoga, John of Bloomington and Ben of Cincinnati; four daughters and a son. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Perkins Funeral Home at Ladoga. Burial will be in Stoner Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon. - kbz
