STONER, David - Putnam

Prof. David L. Stoner, superintendent of the Ladoga schools, died in the Deaconess Hospital in Indianapolis Monday following an operation for appendicitis the preceding Thursday. Internal hemorrhage necessitated a second operation. While but 27 years old, Mr. Stoner had attained a prominence in his profession. He was born near Ladoga and graduated from the high school in 1905. He was a graduate of the North Manchester college and the State Normal. He leaves a widow and two children. – kbz
