STONE, Donald Lane - Putnam

Stone, Donald Lane II, 88, of Largo died Thursday Oct 19, 2000 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. He was born in Greencastle, Ind and came here in 1975 from Upper Arlington, Ohio.  He worked for 37 years as director of purchasing for Western Electric, Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of First Community Church, Grandview, Ohio.  He was a member of the Masons, AT&T Pioneers Club, Oakhurst Country Club, Columbus, Ohio, Bardmoor Country Club, Largo and Bayou Country Club, Seminole. He was a graduate of DePauw University, Greencastle and a member of its alumni association.  He was a varsity letterman in several sports. Survivors include his wife, Roberta Jane; two daughters, Roberta Lynne Kline, Miami and Elizabeth Louise Fahrback, Greenville, Ohio; two sons, Donald Lane III and Gregory Charles, both of Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  National Cremation Society, Largo. – kbz
