STOKES, Royce - Putnam

Royce Bertram Stokes, 93, of Lake Placid died Saturday at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring.  A native of Putnam County, Ind, he came to Lake Placid 27 years ago from Indianapolis.  He was a retired financial executive for a retail furniture business, a WWI US Navy veteran and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid.  He is survived by two sons, Donald E. Darmer of Mesa, AZ and Harold L. Darmer; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Scott Funeral Home, Lake Placid – kbz
