Ross E. Stites, 61, 259 N 12th Street died at the Vermillion County Hospital at 11 p.m. Saturday following a brief illness. He is survived by the widow, Essie; four sons, Edgar, Chicago; William Glenn, US Navy, NY; Ralph and Charles, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Kitchen, Rt 2, Clinton; Mrs. Frieda Gambill, South Bend, Ind; Rose and Nellie both at home; one stepdaughter, Josephine Morrison, Niles, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Russell and Mrs. Katheryne Kane, both of Clinton and one half-sister, Mrs. Rachael Walters, Rockville. The body was taken to the Frist Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements. - kbz
