Mr. and Mrs. Will Shular attended the funeral of Mrs. Mary Ann STITES in Greencastle on Sunday. Mrs. Stites was the grandmother of Mrs. Shular. Although 84 she lived by herself in Clinton Falls. On Thursday morning her dress caught fire from the stove. She managed to put out the flames herself but she was so badly burned when a neighbor found her that she was taken to the hospital at Greencastle, where she died on the following day. She leaves two children, a son, Marion, living at Greencastle and a daughter, Mrs. Myra GUILLIAMS, Mrs. Shuler's mother, who lives in Rockville. George Slaves attended school with her children and always visited her when in Clinton Falls.
