STIDD, Dolas - Putnam

Dolas I. Stidd, 77, of Quincy died Feb 7, 2002 in Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Born Sept 4, 1924 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Ernest and Muriel Blanche (Denny) Sutherlin, both deceased. She married Cletis “Pappy” Franklin Stidd Oct 2, 1943. He died May 31, 1985.  Mrs. Stidd was a homemaker and nurse’s aide at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. She was a member of Millgrove United Methodist Church in Millgrove, Ind and Quincy Methodist Ladies Aid in Quincy, Ind. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Ann LeLoup of Quincy; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A son, Russell Lee Stidd, Sept 1, 1987; a brother, Robert Sutherlin; and a grandson, Eric Marshall Bixler preceded her in death.  The service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. The Rev. Louis D. Crouch will officiate.  Burial will be in Mannan Cemetery at Cloverdale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. - kbz
