STEWART, Leslie - Putnam

Roachdale – Funeral services for Leslie P. Stewart, 67, who died at 6:15 a.m. Monday in Winona Hospital at Indianapolis are at 2 p.m. today at Perkins Funeral Home here with burial in Blakesburg Cemetery. He had been ill several months. Mr. Stewart was a son of Douglas and Mary Frances Farrow Stewart and was born in Ladoga July 22, 1899. He was married March 27, 1920 to Della Coffel at Cadillac, Mich. He was a member of the Greencastle Moose Lodge and retired three years ago from employment at the Fincastle Salvage Yard. Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Howard Dean Jr of Fincastle; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruby Stewart also of Fincastle; a sister, Mrs. Mabel McKinsey of Ladoga and 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by a son, Paul in 1965 and by two children in infancy.  – kbz
