Edythe M. People Stephens, 87, Pittsboro, died Thursday. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Blakesburg Cemetery Fincastle. Calling will be private. She had owned and operated Edyth’s Grill, Pittsboro for 41 years before retiring. She was a member of Pittsboro Christian Church. She was the widow of Ray Stephens.  Survivors: daughters, Joan Morgan and Shirley Jean Huddleston; fife grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. David A.
