Henry F, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stegmiller, died Sunday from brain fever at the age of 10
months. The interment occurred Monday afternoon, the funeral exercises being
held at the residence of the child’s grandparents in north Greencastle. The
death of Miss Nannie Sellers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sellers, occurred
Tuesday evening at 9 o’clock. Her case,
during her illness excited the deepest sympathy on the part of her friends,
both on account of her extreme suffering and the peculiar circumstances leading
up to it. Miss Sellers took iodide potassium for the cure of goiter. The doses
were increased a drop each time, but she failed to dilute them sufficiently and
a most alarming derangement of the stomach resulted. - kbz
