STARR, James Albert - Putnam

Jamestown, Jan 23 – James Albert Starr passed away at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis at noon Thursday relatives and friends here have been informed.  He had been at the Indianapolis Hospital for three weeks and death was caused by complications.  He had been in failing health for the past 5 years.  He was born in Putnam County near Greencastle Feb 12, 1865, the son of Hezekiah and Sarah Starr.  He was married to Justina Jacks, Nov 14, 1914.  He was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church.  He was a carpenter by trade.  Surviving are one son, Broadhurst Starr, of Jamestown and two brothers, John Starr of Omaha, Neb and WC Starr of Greenville, Mo.
