Rev. Commodore B. Stanforth a former pastor of the ME Church,  died in Culver Hospital on Thursday morning, after a major  operation. He was born in Ohio, Nov 22, 1864. He married Agnes  Ferry who died 1934, shortly after leaving the Waveland pastorate  to move to a small farm near Smartsburg. Later he marr. Mrs. Anna  M. Grimes who died June 11 this year. He grad. From DePauw in  1894 and has since devoted himself to the ministry. He is  survived by one daughter, Mrs. Albert Pyke of Lafayette; a son,  Walter David Stanforth, of Oak Park, Ill and two grandchildren,  Daonald Pyke, Lafayette and John B. Stanforth, Oak Park, Ill.  Funeral services at the Trinity ME Church, Crawfordsville on Saturday afternoon were in charge of Rev. Earl Moore. Burial in Masonic  Cemetery. --transcribed by kbz
