Services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at French Funeral Home in Brazil, Ind., for Rose Elmore Spicer, 71, Reelsville, Ind., formerly of Topeka, who died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at a son's home in Plainfield, Ind. She had an apparent heart attack.
She was born April 5, 1931, in Topeka, where she spent her early life. She lived in Reelsville, Ind., for many years. She was a home health aide and worked for the Clay County Health Center in Brazil, Ind., before she recently retired.
She was a member of Croys Creek Church in Brazil, Ind.
She married Wayne Spicer on March 25, 1950. He died Jan. 31, 1998. A son, Bruce Spicer, and a daughter, Sherylyn Spicer, also died.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Spicer, Nashua, N. H., Terry Spicer, Plainfield, Ind., and Craig Spicer, Terre Haute, Ind.; a daughter, Sue Spicer, Indianapolis; two sisters, Mary Thompson, Perry, and Florence Butts, Shawnee Mission; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, Ind. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today at the funeral home
