SPENCER, Lena Cunningham - Putnam

Services for Lena Cunningham Spencer, 85, Indianapolis, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Singleton & Herr Madison Avenue Mortuary where calling will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.  She died Monday in a local nursing home. She worked as an operator 40 years for Indiana Bell Telephone Co retiring in 1961.  A native of Putnam County she lived here 60 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Southport, Telephone Pioneers of America and the Southport Chapter of Order of Eastern Star.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church. She was the widow of Glynn Spencer. Survivors: daughter, Luana Senter and Arleen Kolb. - kbz
