Russellville – Gladys M. Spencer, 89 of Russellville died in her Putnam County home at 6:26 p.m. Friday. She had been seriously ill one week. Born Sept 29, 1900 she was a native of Morton, Ind. She married Archie Spencer in 1929. He died in 1977. Mrs. Spencer was a member of Russellville Community Church. Surviving are five sons: Donoval Spencer and Max Spencer, both of Russellville; Glendon L. Spencer and Hubert D. Spencer, both of Lafayette and Larry D. Spencer of Crawfordsville and a daughter, Ruth Lane of Russellville. - kbz
