SNOWDEN, Ida Michael - Putnam

Mrs. James Snowden, 84, of Mooresville died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. CA Horr of near Mooresville.  She is the daughter of John S. and Mary Elizabeth Wilson Michael and was born in Putnam County Aug 28, 1864.  She became the wife of James Snowden Sept 6, 1882. He preceded her in death in 1905.  She was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs CA Horr, of Mooresville and two brothers, John and Ernest Michael of Bainbridge. Funeral services will be held at the Harvey Funeral Home in Mooresville at 2 o’clock Tuesday. The Rev. Omar Hall will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Inn Cemetery. – transcribed by kbz
