The subject of this sketch (Mary L. Snider) was called to another world at 5:30 p.m. Feb 22, 1892. She lived a consistent, faithful Christian life and was ready to go at the Master’s call. All that was mortal of this dear friend was laid to res tin Barnard Cemetery by gentle hands on Wednesday Feb 24. We will say to the husband, sisters and brothers, weep not for she is just a flower gone to bloom in the fields above, and though you can not call her back, you can so live that you can go to her when life and its labors are o’er. The world can truly say that it has been bettered by her living in it. Let us all try to emulate the spotless life of this dear friend, that it may be said of us, when we fail here, that a good man or woman has fallen. Death due to the lagrippe – LC
