SMITH, Roy L. - 1912 - Putnam

Roy L. Smith, age 25 years died at his home about two miles west of Brick Chapel Sunday night, his demise coming after an illness of several months of tuberculosis. The funeral services will be held at the home at 1 o'clock Wednesday morning; burial in Brick Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Jasper Tudor, of Monrovia, will officiate. Mr. Smith who was a prominent young farmer of that community, is survived by a young wife and one child. Mrs. Smith is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Carver.  --kbz
