SMITH, Raymond Wendell - Putnam

Greencastle – Services for Raymond Wendell Smith, 72, Fillmore, will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Rector Funeral Home. He died yesterday in Putnam County Hospital. A former principal of Fillmore HS, Smith retired in 1966 after teaching 42 years. Most of his teaching career was spent with the Putnam County school system. Smith, a veteran of WWI, was graduated from the former Central Normal College.  Survivors: wife, Louise; sons Robert, Stanley, daughter Mrs. Don Hendrich.  – transcribed by kbz
