SMITH, Mary E. Murray - Putnam

Mrs. Mary E. SMITH age 74, died at her home in Bellmore Friday night. She was the daughter of John M. and Delcina Murray, born in Putnam County Oct 29, 1876. She was married to Charles T. Smith and was a member of the Bellmore Methodist Church. Surviving are the husband, a son, Clarence T. Smith of Indianapolis; five daughters, Mrs. Lucile Asbury of Oak Park, Ill; Mrs. Mary Gross of South Bend; Mrs. Merle Scott of Bellmore; Mrs. Cora Robison of Waveland and Mrs. Louise Hobson of Palo Alto, Calif; two sisters, Bertha Hopkins of Clay City and Clara Mount of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and four great. The funeral was Monday morning at Rockville conducted by the Rev. William Bleam, pastor of the Rockville Methodist Church -burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.    --- typed by kbz
