SMITH, Martha 1896 - Putnam

Mrs. Martha Smith, wife of Wm. Smith died at Modence, Mo, Sunday Jan 1896.  Deceased was born near Morton, this county, May 12, 1838 and was married to Wm. Smith at Blakesburg,. July 22, 1863. They moved to Missouri the next year and there had come into the possession of a fine farm and country home. Deceased will be remembered by some of our older residents.
