Harry W. Smith, 83 of Quincy died
Thursday at Indianapolis having been in failing health for the past two
months. Mr. Smith was born Feb 18, 1873
in Greencastle, the son of Henry and Margaret Smith. He had also lived in the
Fillmore community. He was a retired machinist. He was a member of the Corinth
Baptist Church and a 56 year member of the Red Mens Lodge. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Jesse
Bowes, Carmel R 1, and Mrs. Mabel Brosman of Indianapolis, one grand daughter
and four great grandchildren. Funeral
services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Whitaker Funeral Home in
Cloverdale, Rev. Lee O. Day will be in charge. Interment will be in the Mannan
cemetery. Friends may call at the Whitaker Funeral Home at any time. - kbz
