SMITH, Donald Edward - WWII Vet

Donald Edward Smith, 81, Lebanon, died March 17.  He was a self-employed barber in Lebanon and North Salem, retiring in 1988.  He also had worked for Hicks Body Co and The Star Drug Store, Lebanon.  Mr. Smith was an Army veteran of World War II.  He was a life member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.  Services: 10 a.m. March 20 in Myers Mortuary, Lebanon, with calling from 2-6 p.m. March 19. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon. Survivors: wife Mary Louise Witt Smith; children Thomas E. Smith, Linda Ellen Collier, Donna L. Robertson; sister Rosemary Behymer; 8 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter. - kbz
