SLAVENS, Reuben - Putnam

Reuben Slavens, a former citizen of Putnam County died in Yates Center, Kan, Aug 30, aged 67 years and 10 months.  His parents move to Putnam County when he was an infant.  He married Miss Martha F. Inge and was a partner in business of George B. Inge.  He was a Mason and a member of the Christina Church, moving to Kansas in 1869.  Disease of the bladder and kidneys caused his death. – kbz
