The wife of Clarence Skelton of Washington Township died
Wednesday from complications arising from childbirth. She was 22 years of age.
The funeral services were Thursday at Walnut Creek Chapel, 10 o’clock being the
hour. At one o’clock that afternoon the interment took place at Forest Hill
Cemetery. The husband is a son of Rev. Wm. Skelton and is well known among the
legal fraternity, especially in this city, having studied law with Smiley &
McNay last summer. The Brazil Democrat has the following in regard to the above
death: “Mrs. Cannie Skelton residing near Reelsville, died Wednesday morning at
2 o’clock. She was the daughter of CP Zenor of this city and well known here
and in the south part of the county.” - kbz
