Ernest W. Simpson, 60, for more than 29 years a rural mail carrier in the Russellville post office, died suddenly at 8:30 o'clock Wed night, August 8 at his home in Russellville. Mr. Simpson suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at 3 o'clock Wed. morning. The deceased was born near Browns Valley April 30, 1874 son of James and Harriet SImpson and was married Dec 11, 1932 to Venie Kinkead. He was a member of the Federated church and the Masonic and K. of P. fraternal orders. Surviving besides the widow is one sister, Mrs. Cora L. Day of Crawfordsville. Mr. Simpson carried his mail route Tuesday and appeared to be in his usual good health. He has been delivering the mail 29 years and __ months ago Tuesday.

"Russellville" The community was sorry to hear of the sudden death of Ernest Simpson. He had been a rural mail carrier for 29 years . He went on his route Tuesday and Wednesday morning he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He passed away Wed . Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Federated Church. A large crowd attended the funeral.
