SIMPSON, Earl J. - Putnam

Services for Earl J. Simpson, 83 of West Allis, Wis who died Tuesday after a lengthy illness will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bartholomew Funeral Home with the Revs. Albert Siebert, John Dantuma and Robert Leib officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Thursday.  He was a Valparaiso resident from 1925 until last summer when he moved to West Allis. He was employed by the Universal Atlas Cement Co in Buffington retiring in 1964. He was a 38-year member of the First Baptist Church in Valparaiso and member of the Beloit Road Baptist Church in West Allis.  He was born in Feb 24, 1894 a son of William and Mary (Jenkins) Simpson. He married Odessa Robbins Sept 11, 1927.  Surviving are the widow; and a daughter, Carol Klevenow of Elmgrove, Wis. - kbz
