SILVEY, Martha Susan Perkins - Putnam

Mrs. Martha Susan Silvey, 83, died at her home southwest of here Sunday afternoon November 27. She was born in Hendricks County, Indiana, March 13, 1855, the daughter of Anderson and Elizabeth Epperson Perkins. On January 27, 1878, she was married to John T. Silvey who died November 9, 1914. Survivors are three sons; Vern of this place, Albert of near here and Charles W. of near Fincastle; two brothers; Charles N. Perkins of New Winchester, and John Perkins of Barnard, two grandchildren; Maurice and Alice Silvey. Funeral services were held at Chastain funeral home Wednesday afternoon. Burial was made in Roachdale cemetery
