SILLERY, Charles - Putnam

Charles Sillery, 83, long resident of this community, died Thursday afternoon of last week at his home south of Carpentersville. Mr. Sillery was born April 16, 1854, the son of John and Amanda Bridges Sillery, in Kentucky. His wife died several years ago. Survivors are two daughters; Mrs. Harry Burdette and Mrs. John Irwin, both of near here, two sons; Frank and Roy Sillery, both of near here, one sister, Edna Carpentersville of Terre Haute; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday afternoon.
