SHROUT, Zora Ethel Craig - Putnam

ROACHDALE – Mrs. Zora Ethel Shrout, 68, of Roachdale died suddenly Sunday morning at Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge at Ladoga. She was born Nov. 15, 1899, at Fredericksburg, Ky., a daughter of Alfred and Martha Craig. She married Thomas Shrout in May of 1918. He died Jan. 9, 1963. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Allyene Snyder of Bradley, Ill., and a brother, W. B. Craig of Roachdale. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Cochran officiating. Interment will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.   -– jlr
