Funeral services for Donald Lee Shillings, 18, Rt. 1, Roachdale, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Perkins Funeral Home at Roachdale. Burial will be in the Lakesburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. The youth died at 7:45 a.m. Monday in the Indiana University Medical Center at Indianapolis of a head injury reportedly sustained when he fell or jumped from a truck last Friday evening. The Marion County coroner’s office is investigating. Born Aug. 24, 1952, at Roachdale he was a son of Paul and Eleanor Black Shillings. He attended school at Greencastle. Survivors include the father and mother of Rt. 1, Roachdale; 10 sisters, Mrs. Shirley Ward of Tuscola, Ill., Mrs. Darlen Blackmore of Groveland, Mrs. Mary Lou Thomas of Indianapolis, Mrs. Carolyn Reynolds of Bainbridge, Mrs. Barbara Jo Ann Ralston of Pittsboro, Mrs. Edna Baker of Indianapolis, and Sara, Dora, Debbie and Marlene at home; three brothers Paul of Rt. 1, Roachdale, Robert of Crawfordsville and Dennis, at home; a grandmother, Mrs. Elmer Black of Rt. 1, Roachdale, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. – jlr
