SHERRARD, Joseph - CW - Putnam

Joseph Sherrard, a soldier in the 55th Indiana has died at Cloverdale. He was wounded in battle of Richmond, Ky, the ball striking him just above the ear, slightly to the front, passing through his head and coming out on the opposite side, about the same place. He has suffered greatly all these years with the wound and died from its effects.  He leaves a widow and one child.
