Audrey Shearer, 65, of 205 Jennison St., died Thursday night in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. She lived at Des Moines, Iowa, for 30 years before moving back here last June. Miss Shearer was a manager for Kelley Girls, an agency for temporary employment, at Des Moines. She was born near Bainbridge on Feb. 28, 1908, a daughter of John W. and Sarah Hammond Shearer. She was graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1927. Surviving are a brother, Roscoe of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil P. Ross, with whom she made her home here, and Mrs. George Apple, also of Crawfordsville, and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. John Carter and the Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. – jlr
