SHARP, Lucy Ford - Putnam

Mrs. Lucy Ford Sharp, died in Greencastle Tuesday morning. She was the widow of Elmer W. Sharp and resides on South Locust Street. Funeral services were Thursday afternoon, with internment in Forest Hill cemetery. Mrs. Sharp was born in Princeton, Indiana in 1860. She was the mother of Mrs. G. D. Haimbaugh, Rochester, Mrs. Thad Jones and Miss Edith Sharp of Greencastle, and also of the late Maurice Sharp, the aviator for whom the local airport is named    --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for donating her wonderful Roachdale Times obituary file for use on this site
