Shannon - mother of DS

The mother of ex-Deputy Clerk D. S. Shannon of
this county died in Mt. Sterling, Ky last week at the age of 94 years. Not sure
if this is Mrs. Catherine Shannon who died 8 May 1894 in Frankfort, Franklin Co
KY or not – she was 94 died at nephew’s Mr. WS Dehoney. She was confined to her room 25 years widow
of the late William Shannon who was in the War of 1812 – obit on findagrave
