Mr. John Seller, one of the first settlers of the county died at his residence in the west part of the city yesterday morning at half past 5 o’clock.  Mr. Seller moved to this county from Ky in 1822, settling on the farm now owned by Robert Chenowith south of town.  He afterward moved into town and for a number of years kept a tavern on the south side of the square where Lyon & Weik’s grocery now stands.  Mr. Seller has been a member of the Presbyterian Church just 40 years this winter.
