SCRIBNER, Eliza Jane Conner - Putnam

Russellville, June 8 - The death of Mrs. Eliza Scribner occurred at her home here Monday morning at 2:30 o'clock, after an illness of 10 days, having suffered a stroke of paralysis May 29. She had been in usual health up until that time. She is the widow of Bradford Scribner, who preceded her in death 21 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alex Crosby of Roachdale, and Mrs. Kate Lewis of Indianapolis, and five sons, John and Fred of LA, Calif; Ford; Charles and Frank of this place and 7 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Emma Dodds of Greencastle and Mrs. Meda Hann of Leavensworth, Ind also survive. The funeral will be here Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. HL Davis of Indianapolis. Interment will be made int he Ladoga Cemetery.   --- klbz
