Mrs. Florence J. Scott of Attica, age 68, died Friday night, January 23, in Williamsport Community Hospital. She was born at Nashville, Tennessee, May 10, 1912, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hatfield. A resident of Attica for 18 years, she was the widow of Arthur M. Scott, who died in 1961. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patty Vaughn of Rhine, Georgia; three sons, Robert Scott of West Lebanon, Arthur L. Scott of Cloverdale and James Leroy Scott of Quincy; a brother, Charles Hatfield of New Ross; 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Forrest Stickler officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica.- thanks to S

Attica -Mrs. Florence J. Scott, 68, of 205 W. Main St, died at 10:40 p.m. Friday in Meadow Heights Nursing Home, Williamsport, where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been in ill health two years. Born and educated at Nashville, Tenn, she had been an Attica resident 18 years. Her marriage was at Nashville, to Arthur M. Scott who preceded her in death in 1961. Surviving are three sons, Robert Scott of Rtt 1, West Lebanon, Arthur L. Scott of Rt 2, Cloverdale and Mrs. James Leroy Scott of Quincy; a daughter, Mrs. atty Vaughn of Rhine, Ga; and one brother, Charles Hatfield of New Ross.
